Achilles reconstruct with Flexor Hallucis transfer - The skin incision, Achilles tendon.
If you are not used to the BioTenodesis screw system please proceed to BioTenodesis full technique.mov, BioTenodesis kit.mov, Bio-tenodesiskit.
The Skin incision is just anterior to the Achilles tendon, medial side. Dissect directly onto tendon (using tenotomy scissors), preserving
full thickness skin and fat flaps. Do not dissect anterior into the fat (the location of the Nerve).
