Achilles reconstruct with Flexor Hallucis transfer-Hole for Bio-tenodesis screw
1-attached insertion of achilles
2-Fhl being routed through the defect in the achilles
3-hole drilled at right angles to insertion of achilles(for maximum pull out strength with biotenodesis screw) with Arthrex Biotenodesis drill. A guide wire (on set ) is inserted and then overdrilled with an appropriatley sized cannulated drill bit (same size as implant or 1mm bigger and 2mm deeper than length of implant).
