Lateral ankle ligament reconstruction-skin incision
An initial ankle arthroscopy is performed and portals closed. The skin incision for lateral ligament reconstruction runs from the region of the antero-lateral portal(1) to posterior to the fibula(2) ,ending over-lying the peroneal tendons(3).
