Hindfoot Fusion Nail-position whilst reaming
A second additional guide wire(1) may be required to hold position whilst reaming for the nail if movement is occuring. It is particularly important to prevent the tendency to plantar-flexion of the foot which occurs during reaming if stability is inadequate.
