(Achilles) Hagglunds deformity-Incision
For a Hagglunds deformity the incision is over this postero-lateral prominence , just skirting the lateral margin of the Achilles tendon(2).
If Insertional tendonosis without an associated Hagglunds is being dealt with then a medial approach can be considered if preferred.
