The tendon being reattached using an Arthrex Bio corkscrew suture anchor. An initial track in made with the spiked probe(2). This should be in thick bone (1) ,well away from both the superior edge of the calcaneum(3) as well as the subtalar joint(which is in the apex of the deep exposure).
