An Arthrex bio-corkscrew anchor with attached suture(1) is implanted into the lateral wall of the talus in the region of the ATFL insertion (see bio-corkscrewkit and bio-corkscrew technique). The ruptured ATFL is well defined in this case and can be simply reattached with appropriate tension. The peroneal tendons (3).
