OPERATIVE CONSIDERATIONS

PATIENT POSITIONING:supine with ipsilateral sandbag.

TOURNIQUET:thigh at 300mmHg

ANAESTHESIA:General

NERVE BLOCK:femoral and sciatic

KIT REQUIRED:lambotts fine osteotomes, 5mm high speed burr, Wright Charlotte staples, DePuy 4.0mm cannulated ACE screws.
