Post operative protocol

6 weeks in a below knee cast non weight bearing.
Cast bivalved for the first two weeks.
Week 7 until 12 in long Aircast walking boot, increasing weight bearing as able.
Light weight walking boot from week 12 for 6 weeks.
Avoid heavy manual work and sport until 5 months post operative.
