Posterior ankle decompression-Os Trigonum is identified
The FHL tendon(1) freed from its investing sheath , inspected and retracted anteriorly in this case. This tendon is healthy. The posterior aspects of tibia(2) and talus(3) are exposed. A small Os Trigonum is identified(4) and can now be excised.The vessels and nerve continue to be retracted(5).
