Tibialis posterior reconstruction - Plantar aspect of Tendon
The whole tendon is exposed down to its insertion (1) and then dissection proceeds distally. The last 5cm or so of tendon in this case are clearly degenerate (2). The plantar aspect of Tibialis posterior insertion needs to be defined. This involves dissecting the Abductor Hallucis muscle belly and FHBrevis (3).
