A suture to place traction the end of the tendon is sewn into the tendon end(2). The cannulated Bio-tenodesis screw(1) is introduced on the cannulated screwdriver onto the marked end of the FDL tendon. The screwdriver and screw are attached to the tendon by a suture ,looped around the tendon end and passed through the centre of the screwdriver. As the screw is tightened into its tunnel
the tendon(and its marked end,4) is also drawn in.
