The long extensor tendons retracted(1) to allow access to the dorsal midfoot, in the approximate midline.
Subperiosteal dissection to identify a midfoot bone of appropriate size into which a suture anchor(see bio-corkscrewkit) or Bio-tenodesis screw (see Bio-tenodesiskit) is placed(2).
