The triple fusion-The ankle dorsiflexed
The point of entry on the talar neck should not be too far proximal(1). If it is impingement of the screw head upon the anterior tibia may occur. The ankle can be dorsiflexed with the guide wire in situ and screened with a lateral x ray to ensure this does not occur.
